I got mad hooked on A1 Steak Sauce when I was a kid. I poured that shit on everything.

Japanese food all the way! I just love sashimi and sushi but they have great meat dishes as well. Next month I'll be in Japan again and I know that I will come home with quite a few pounds more...

My girlfriend is from Antigua - she makes me all kinds of bizzare stuff, but she made me Pumpkin soup one day - fucking deeelicious. She also makes a mean spicy shrimp dish. I think that the old saying "a way to a man's heart is through his stomach" is very true.

Growing up as poor black trash in S. Alabama... Ive learned to love Fried Chicken and watermellon. You may laugh...but it's true.

I'm hooked on Chalupas! :helpme The crust is so nice and buttery... and they have some kind of special sauce inside.. yumm

I'm also addicted to french brie cheese. I can just eat it by itself with no bread or anything...

Before I spent any amount of time in a predominantly black area, I thought that perhaps the chicken thing was just some blown out of proportion stereotype.

Until I moved to Detroit and saw the lines around the Chicken Shacks. And you will find two types of fast food in the ghetto... Taco Bell, and Churchs Chicken, or any other chain chicken place.

I used to work in China Town when I was a young punk - well one day the owner of the company takes us out for a big feast to celebrate his daughters birthday.

On that one day I ate sparrow, squirell stew and snake soup. When the snake soup came I was told not to eat too much as it affects the blood if your not used to it. But I thought what the fuck and wolfed down a huge bowl full.

The next day when I woke up my lips were white. When I went into work - well lets just say that I provide much entertainment.

BTW has anyone ever tried Darien (sp) fruit - you buy it in Chinese markets. I've never tried it but I have bought one and had it opened in front of me - trust me, it is the most noxious smelling thing you will ever encounter in your life - just disgusting, will seriously make you want to puke.

I've got some hummus in the fridge right now....mmm yummy.

I also go through phases of eating LOADS of nachos. Home made with cheese and salsa or chili and cheese with sour cream for dippin'.

Before I got pregnant I was introduced to a traditional English sandwich of cheese and pickle. I know you are all saying that you have pickle on your cheese sandwiches all the time but pickle here is different. Its sort-of spicy pickle relish that you eat with ONLY cheese. Bizzare stuff but I just couldn't get enough.

Now I'm knocked up and have gone off eating too much meat. Give me salad and hummus and vegetarian anything and I'm a happy camper.

Every country makes some great tasting food. I've never tried anything from the Middle East though. I have no clue what they eat. Yeah its good to try new things.
I remember not wanting to try Japanese food ages ago but now I eat it a lot.

weirdest stuff i ate:

sheep brain --- dont like it
sheep head meat --- kinda like it
cows stomach (in soup) --- love it
liver --- dont like it
intestines --- love it
heart --- kinda like it
kidney --- dont like it
goat balls --- tried it once, i dont really remember if it tasted good or bad, but just dont wanna eat it again.

Todays menu: corona, chilled.

This week it's Spaghetti, so yesterday I went to the store... got all the fix'ns... Made up a BIG batch... While at the store I started thinking about beef Bologna.. so I got 2 lbs... sometimes all I want to eat is Bologna.. love the stuff.... and the Spaghetti turned out great.... just had some... have no ideal why I freeze some of it...because I'll keep eating it until it's all gone... Man I make some gooooood pasta..:Graucho
