British Vice Adm. Charles Style said that the global positioning system on the ship proved the vessel was "clearly" 3.1 kilometers (1.7 nautical miles) inside Iraqi waters and that the 14 men and 1 woman who were inspecting a merchant ship were "ambushed" by the Iranian forces.

The last British prisoners Iran took in 2004 they conducted "mock executions" with them.

I would tend to believe the gps though as long as it wasnt a flyby done the next day to show where they were. the channnel is filled with ships , they could just have taken that pic..

If the helicopter was watching why didnt they say " hey the iranians are attacking us help "

doesn't make much sense that an iranian flotilla of military ships would stray into a VASTLY outnumbered neighbours land and kidnap soldiers.
