Are the Pornotube type sites the new TGP's?

It seems like they are popping up daily.

www.snizzshare.com

and on and on. There's probably a couple of hundred of them now in the last 6 months. AND THEY ARE GETTING MASSIVE TRAFFIC QUICKLY.

It seems like they are becoming what TGPs were before. Will TGP/MGP survive or will we see the big names convert to this format?

I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

i agree that sites like this are becomming more popular but I think TGP/MGP sites will still be around and successful for a long time

actually in last 2 years blogs have replaced TGP's as the most common way for newbies to start an adult site

but the tube sites may indeed get massive traffic, but I dont think they are that widely recognized yet and I don't think that many people try to start them

I don't use ICQ anymore.

Bandwidth is insanely cheap now a days.

But, you are right, it may be too expensive for noobs.

Unless I miss my guess those sites will likely be the ones to prove that TGP traffic wasn't all that bad. They certainly appeal to the youtube generation, but I have a feeling that most of them are major, major freeloaders.

In addition, user submitted videos are a total legal disaster, 2257 wise. You could only really run one of these things legally if you were buying content or using sponsor content with permission.

Also, if the sites allow embedding of their videos, they may have fairly high apparently traffic levels, but perhaps not so much the returns or the page views you would expect.

XXXJay might have something to say about snizzshare.

I have the same feeling as well. This can't be good for sending joins. The money would have to come from ads. I could see them selling on a CPM type system.
