TMM has known about this for a while but they don't seem to be in any ruch to fix it. |
Realitycash...there is a bug after you hit the submit button to make the changes. The script is breaking or something. You should look into it.

Great thread. We just moved and had the same problems. Luckily I think I got a hold on it though. A real hassle.
Also I was using a po box for a lot of addresses, so that helped. |
I'm around most of the time...affiliates will have no problem getting in touch with me.

What about sponsors whose password retrieval system is broken and whose system also won't let you sign up for a new account because you already have one?
*cough* occash *cough* |

I started using a PO BOX about 4 years ago because I was tired of going through what the thread starter is going through right now. |

The NATS verify email is so you can make changes, not so you can approve them.

For instance if someone hacks or figures out your password, then changes the pay to info and the mailing address for the checks, you wouldn't notice until you were missing a check or two. I have no problem having to go through verification (ie sending the request from the email addy you used to sign up with or calling them from the phone number you have on file with them) but they should handle it promptly in cases like that. 24 business hour turnaround is reasonable IMO. |

We have things set up so that you can change pretty much everything yourself, but the _key_ stuff you need to get verified... and that verification is tyically handled the next business morning or as soon as I'm reached on ICQ... whichever comes first. As Einstein once said (to paraphrase), 'Intelligence solves problems. Genius prevents them.' |
