2 years ago the board was full of "w00t, I just got listed at the Hun" threads and now you rarely see such threads.
Instead everyone is talking about Wordpress, RSS Feeds, trading hardlinks on blogs etc so do more people try to run blogs now than submit to TGP's? what do you think?

I think most people are trying to run blogs like TGPs, and are trying to use wordpress like TGP software.
I think given some time, they're going to realize this isn't the way to go about doing things long term. When they find out that they actually need to write original articles and stuff on a regular basis, they will quit. That is all. |

Yes, though sadly most of them have then in turn altered blogs to become bastard tgp blog children that are super weak on original content and nothing more than more free porn.

I don't get all this blog crap anyways.
A webpage of some idiot spouting off his opinions. And this is different than a regular website one would have, how? |

A blog site is nice to promote your latest TGP entries and to hardlink exchange with other TGPs. In our case I can promote new exclusive content from our camgirls using a blog.
I dont think a blog can replace a TGP completly, it's more an add-on.

Doesn't matter. Not like many people know how to make good galleries, TGP's or blogs anyway.

If they do, they make money and stay in the game. If they don't, they're likely to get ejected fairly fast.

Actually, you might wanna refresh my memory. I see tons of ideas daily and even if I have a very good memory, I just can't remember them all.

To me it is more like blogs have replaces free sites. Most people will get bored with them shortly because they don't bring in the massive sudden bursts of traffic that comes with TGPs and that will leave the dedicated porn bloggers to work the search engine traffic in the way that free site builders and AVS people have done for years. I can't wait for that day

I think hard workers make a lot of dough and people who are looking to get rich quick average less than $25 a day.

Yes, I for one did. I've avoided producing "blogified" TGPs devoid of text-content, that would be bad for SEO.

if you're a surfer are you going to go to a blind linking, circle jerking, virus installing tgp or a clean blog? think about it.

a blog can be a good way of building traffic and make some money but it all depends on how good you make it.
If you just start a blog without knowing what you're doing you will never get it big, it's just the same as with TGP's |

seems to be much easier to start/maintain/editc, etc a wordpress blog than a tgp... the fact that it's free, and has 1000s of useful plugins for it helps too...
