"majority scientific belief" does not equal fact.

20 years ago, the majority of climatoligists were warning of an upcoming ice age. In retrospect, that was hardly fact, was it?

timeline for those who can't seem to get it.

1) pyramids are built (along with a lot of really cool shit actually)
2) the world stares on in wonderment.
3) archaeologist start excavating and trying to understand what they are and why they are there
4) archaeologists are totally baffled at how they could have been constructed
5) morons of the planet insist they were constructed by aliens
6) contemporary discoveries and archaeology answer almost every question and "old theories" are replaced by accepted facts.
7) morons continue to cling to alien stories because they are morons

i can understand the people that think 9/11 was staged by our government....but how does that also make them believe that aliens built the pyramids?

i dont think either of them were conspiracies. what im getting at is...why do "conspiracy theorists" believe ALL the stereotypical, dumbass conspiracies? the odds that, out of all of them, one actually was a legitimate conspiracy are pretty good.

however, the odds that ALL of them are accurate, and damn near everything we've ever been told was bullshit, are VERY small. it just seems like if a person believes in one, they believe in them all...which i find baffling.

How can anyone not "believe" in aliens. People love to think with their feelings, but I personally prefer science. Alien life is out there... in numerous but very far away places.
