Is it one of the front tires? I have 245/40's on 20's and the front tires, due to cornering, need checked every couple of weeks. When you corner and brake hard, the seal tends to get worked a lot and you'll lose some air due to seal stress.

I'd say potholes and road annoyances then, unless you have a bad rim. Either way, it's an irritating issue.

Is it on a BMW Juicy? If not, what sorta car?
What brand tyres are you running? It seems unusual as 40 isn't even that low a profile! Are they just running flat or are they getting punctured?

I ran low profiles on my last car. Had it two years and only replaced the front tyres once due to them wearing away.

I have 225/40/18's...no problems really. Are they blowing out on you or just going flat? Do you have aftermarket suspension? If so, do you bottom out a lot? Any rubbing in the wheel well?...Check the balance on your rims and your alignment as well. These are all reasons why tires go bad. If all that is good then check the rim for fragments or see if it's bent.

your roads are shitty - thats the problem

get some 175/70/15 - at 55 mp/h you don't need any high performance tires anyways

I ran 40 series on 17's all last year in a heavy car and I drive like a goddamn maniac and I never had a problem. I would guess that it's either yoru rims, nasty potholes, or shitty rubber.

i've ran low pros for 7-8 years and get a flat maaaaybe once a year from some nail/metal shard. Have your rims checked. Oh and why not just have the tire patched? I've done in numerous times and never had any problems. Costs me like 20 bucks at the tire shop

There is one factor to determining you problem you left out, is the tire just flat or is there a hole in it? If it is just flat overnight, chances are the tire is not seating properly. If it's just flat ask them to show you the wheel before putting a new tire on the next time, it it is looks ok, smooth, no dimples, isnt bent(roll is on a flat concrete floor if it goes straight it isnt bent), or chewed up where the tire meets, ask them to use some type of bead sealer(most just use soapy water as a lubricant). After they have mounted it ask them to float it while you watch, if it has a leak you will be able to see it then.

I ran 245/40/17 on my race car and always had problems with them going flat over night, for race car tires it's a little different because you are running low air pressures but the same principles apple when trying to find out why they are going flat.

Good luck

juice, I have a mustangGT, 18" low profile pirelli tires.

do a test on your rims, if they are dinged a bit that can cause a leak. tires if its cold outside can deflate a bit... but sounds like you may have a small leak by nail or something. Go to a garage and they can put a patch on the tire once they find the leak for like 15$, you dont need new tires. If they are new and defective you should be able to return them

Try using nitrogen in ur tires insted of air i kno wlot of ppl that used nitrogen in tires i was one of them when i had my old car with low pros . It cost 5 bucks a tire to fill up but never had any problems of going flat because of weather and what not ad it gave me better preformign tire all around. The potholes might be a reason but i dotn see why you would need the replaced so often try checking your valve stems as well they could be a problem.
