I think I could spend about 6 hours a day just doing nothing but thinking up, researching, checking availability, and registering domains.

me too
good thing I don't do it everyday though.
I still end up buying at least 30 new domains every month.

I have been thinking about creating some templates for them, that will work with the SE?s but not sure how practical this really is. I wish I had the traffic to feed them all, but.....................................

I'll never forget the time I thought I registered detroitjobs.com and was about to sell it for like $10,000 and realized I registered detoitjobs.com in some drunked stupidity.

gallery scraper + blog organizer + a few link swaps = traffic !

1000 blogs at the same time - no problem, so lets see:

for 12 months:
1000 blogs (say they're getting 300 uniques a day, that should take about 8 months of development) = 300 000 uniques/day

ctr of my blogs - 10% but for the sake of this example lets assume 7% (compare that to the 2.3% of galleries) - you get 21 000 uniques to sponsors

say at 1000 per signup ($30.00 a pop) - you get $630.00 daily, which is $229 950.00 annually

expenses (annually) - $10 000.00 (domain reg fees)
hosting (I'd say about $0.10 per day per blog) - $36 000.00

Profit:
$229 000.00 - ($36 000.00 + $10 000.00) = $183 000.00 annually
that gives you $15 250.00 per month

0000000000000

and since nothing in live goes as planned you'll be making about $4 000.00 per month

so if I'm overlooking something now's the time to tell me

You can throw up a hundred blogs a day. Don't matter. If you don't have good ibl's they aren't worth shit to the se's.

i can get 300 hits a day to any shitty blog within a couple months, i don't see why you couldn't develope more traffic than 300 a day in an 8 month period...

that's basically a worst case scenario, also running 1000 blogs means you have limited time to submit to directories, swap links etc

Think he’s saying this about getting traffic from SE's, and using large numbers of them at a time. Sure if you spend allot of time on each one you can do almost anything you want, but what do you do with 500 of them? No one has the time to really promote this many sites, so my unused domains basically just stay unused

Do NOT use RegisterFly. It is well known in the domain community that they are a stay away shop right now. A whole ton of drama is going on involving a former owner, ICANN, & more. For a few days RegisterFly was actually down.

I don't recall all the details but know that stealing was involved & I think the person in question set up RegisterFly.net to fool people & a whole bunch of other shit.

ICANN is suing them as well.

To sum it up STAY AWAY from RegisterFly. If you have any important names, I suggest you transfer out.

Moniker is the best place to be in my honest opinion.

I have 120 blogs right now

running 120 blogs is simple if you use the right tools, you have to AUTOMATE the shit out of everything

well, there are many ways to make $$$, I'm going this route and if I can make extra 5-7k a month a year from now (on top of what I make now) I'm good

I have wanted to get into that blog stuff, just been working hard to get these members sites, and the affiliate program open for some time now. I am all for automation, maybe their is something better to do with unused domains than just parking them. I guess in 6-8 months I am going to have to take a long hard look at doing something with all of them.

all of your 120 blogs have at least 300 unique hits per day with only SE, and they are all automated ?

I like your theory of developing 50-100 blogs per month and automate everything

Avoid Registerfly like the plague. I bought a domain from someone for $400 a few years ago. In my Registerfly account for at least 2 years. Go to make a change late last year and it suddenly says the domain doesn't exist in my account. Odd, considering it says it has an expiration date in 2007 (this was in 2006, obviously).

I do a whois on the domain, which i had just had sitting redirecting the little type-in traffic it had and it's registered to someone else with a different expiration date to the one in my registerfly account.

I had several occasions where i deposited funds, renewed domains, only to discover the domains were not renewed despite the funds being removed from my account. They are one of the absolute worst fucking companies I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

blog organizer, trying gallery scraper as we speak, I'll probably buy it today (the demo has a limit of 3 feeds) - gallery scraper basically creates posts from hosted galleries with descriptions but I'll be adding more text to the posts, changing titles, adding image tags etc

here's the url if you want to take a peek:
http://www.cheapestwebsoftware.com/

for submission to directories i modified adamsubmitter (the LLs one - 100% free), well not eactly modified, just using directories DB instead of LLs:

blog organizer can be replaced by gallery scaper, or do they need to work both at the mean time ? both have options the other don't have

they're two different scrips

blog organizer lets you log into one interface and add posts, add links (and a lot more) to hundreds (thousands) of blogs that can be hosted at many different hosts

gallery scraper creates feeds from free hosted galleries. You can use these feeds in blog organizer to update your blogs or you can use with any other blogging software that works with feeds.

With gallery scraper arent you concerned having all the images from all your blogs hosted on the same domain?

Unless I am misunderstanding how the software works, but if I understand, all your blogs essentially hotlink the images from the domain where gallery scraper is installed

I generally register one or two domains per day. I've got a little over 1000 now. Sometimes I go on kicks and buy whole networks in some niche or another.

Moniker's definitely the place to keep them and I'm looking for a good parking provider. Sedo was ok...but I think it could be better and TrafficClub was horrible.
