I would have thought the Maldives were half destroyed by the sunami a few years ago. Looks in pretty nice shape to me. It's always been high on my priority list of destinations. Wonder if I could get away with doing a porn shoot there.

They reckon the main thing that saved the Maldives from greater devastation was the coral that surrounds the islands. Somehow it seemed to dissipate the effects, not totally but enough to make it that the islands didnt suffer like other places.
