No, taxi all the way. No need to endanger myself and others!
I have encountered it much more in rural areas, eg Irish country roads are full of drunk drivers after last orders!!!!Paul

did your mom forget to lock the computer today you fat lying cunt?
and yes, i want fries with that.
just because you drink and drive doesn't mean its illegal... if you get completely smashed and go driving, yes it is, but you can drink so much and drive safely
only time i ever got pulled over after leaving a bar, i found out how much i could legally drink before driving
3/4 bottle of Jose Quiervo
1/4 bottle Vodka
6 Coors Lights
2 mugs of Jagemeister
blew a 0.04, didn't get a DUI, but i did get arrested for no license or insurance :SComment

Depends on where you live, but around here anything with a combustion engine is fair game.... if it's electric you are OK (not including hybrid cars obviously). So as long as your wheelchair isn't gas powered you are probably safe. Have to check your local laws though.I have no choice I am forced to drink and drive, unless of course I plan on starting my drinking while in bed and staying there.
Question is, can I be prosecuted for a DUI after drinking since I am in a wheelchair? I heard of some getting one for being on a lawn mower and bicycle.
For instance, in California they have a specific law that permits them to charge you for impaired operation of a bicycle on a highway. Apparently the punishment is less than that of what you would get in a regular vehicle though.
Sometimes around here the Amish get pulled over hammered in their horse-drawn wagons. They can't be charged with DUI since there is no motor, but they usually nail them for a host of other things like open liquor.
