    can sig whores make a living?

    Something i thought was odd was a forum poster with 6000 posts claimed
    that another with 5000 posts that their sigs were worthless as the market has died mind you both looked to have clocked up a lot of posts quickly as i have a few years on them and less posts i wonder how much the traffic market has dipped if sig market is down all i see is price of traffic rising and sigs=traffic so there fore they must know each other as sig whores or they arent getting what they ask to post full time.

    Can sig whores make a living? I know we can't talk about what a post is worth or what a sig is worth but are people making a living out of it?
    I know you can sell your sig in buy n sell forums but are they selling and posters wasting their time and ruining reputations with endless posts or are these post converting for them?

                  The sig market on gfy is dead. Only a a few people make decent money with it but that are the same people who usually already make a lot of money so its not like they are doing it for a living...more as an extra.

                  And then you have the broke 18 year old losers like Scottybuzz and Squishypimp. To them 200 bucks is worth posting 200 times daily for so yes i guess they live off their sig. At least they did. Both didnt manage to sell it lately hahaha. Losers...

                          Actualy squishypimp have 26 years.Also their problem is greed-they think if they will post a lot of posts they can sell sig for high prize.It is better to pay sig for someone who make little but quality posts instead someone who doing nothing else just making enormous number of posts.

                              To make the equivalent of the average wage in Australia you would need to earn about $USD43,500 per year, or $3,620 per month. I can't imagine a dedicated sigwhore living anywhere but below the poverty line.

                                                      Heh,average wage are not same in every country.In my country real average age is 400$ monthly.Official wage is 1000$ monthly,but that is beacuse main city is full with rich people and they raise overall average wage.

I felt sorry for the guy and threw a buck in the box next to his wheelchair. As I drove home I got to thinking about this guy.

                                                                                                                      He sits at one of the main exits of that ballpark after every game (I see him every time I go). Assuming that 25% of the people leaving the park walk past him thats around 10,000 people walking by every night. If 1 in 10 people leave a buck in his box, he is making around $1000 a night. 81 home games a year, and the guy is making $81,000 before taxes.

                                                                                                                      I guess the moral of the story is the sig whores might want to cut off their legs and go to the ballpark. There is more money in it.

IMHO sigwhores would be better off doing something that made more money, and which required less grunt work. (Then again... if they were capable of this they'd already be doing it. )
