for the record having a cold hard tube slid down my throat was fucking nasty, i felt every inch of it go all the way down into my stomach, i wretched a couple times as they twisted it to different angles as i felt it move around in my stomach :@

yeh i gagged like a mofo. they told me not to eat or drink 10 hours prior to the exam, so there was nothing to puke up but a bit of bile. it was so fucking uncomfortable when it first went in and pushed down my throat, they all kept saying swallow.. swallow.. and im like omg wtf is this cold hard black long thing pushing into my throat :O i gagged a lot but when it was in i was relatively calm although i could feel it moving around and it was fucking nasty!!

i dont know who the girl is, she came with the table >.<

Oh christ that's terrible!! A TUBE down your throat to your stomach?????

If one ever had to have that done is it possible to ask for general anesthesia or at least sedation? I would INSIST on being sedated for a procedure like that, I mean INSIST.

When I had my wisdom teeth taken out they put me on "conscious sedation" and I passed out and don't remember anything. Why didn't you ask for that?

I would die if I had to stay awake during that. It sounds very scary. Plus you will have bad memories for the rest of your life... I don't remember anything from the conscious sedation thing.. It's the way to go.

my throat still hurts a little from it poking around >.<

it was very unnatural and i was gagging nearly the whole time. but not really bad memories though, im more proud i went through it without crying like a baby :D
