these kids are 7 or 8 years old, and all they do is rock back and forth when they are sitting there.....they know the carpet is fuzzy, but they don't know the word fuzzy, i wonder if they have their own language they have made up in their head?

I really think they do because my kids are almost 2 and almost 3 and they are both boys who play together all the time.

I'm pretty sure they "talk" to each other in their own language. It's weird ...they fully communicate to each other and understand.

Personally, I think it sounds like Chinese.

What??? ?????

they don't think about normal things that's for sure. they build associations based on touch, taste, and smell. i doubt they have the internal chatter we have. or maybe they do but in a different form. if they do it would probably be more thinking of physical feelings. when most of us think of something it usually involves an internal visualization and internal monologue. i can't help but think if your primary sensory input was that of physical touch, that is what you would think of. not what they're touching or what it means, but the actual feeling it provides and if it lead to stimulation of taste and smell.

someone born deaf and blind really has no chance of ever understanding the world we do. and honestly we never have a chance of understanding the world the way they do. they just can't make the associations the way we do, and we're unable to make associations the way they do because of the extra sensory input we use in making decisions.

well, i think they're sensitive to touches. That's the only communication they could have...

they think in colors.

they think about things they can feel, taste and smell....seems like a pretty easy question to answer

They can only think about cheese. Except they don't call it cheese. They call it alullullaa.

Feeling, taste, smell and whatever experiences they have? I wonder what kinds of dreams they would have though.

I watched that show and it was very sad, I can't imagine how hard it would be to have triplets like that. That's right all 3 girls were deaf and blind.

:(

Lol, where did the "51" come from? In Pinball Wizard, the lyrics go "that", not "51" :p

But that one line makes me want to put Tommy on the DVD. A true masterpiece.

"Tommy can you hear me? Can you feel me near you?"

They really struck gold with Ann-Margret as Tommys mother, shes great. But theyre all great.

They think and see the universe as it will be at the end of time.
