Super-Hero, you need your own Super-Hero toon site.

I'm glad to see someone making good loot too. I never did this full time and this year I am. I see the results immediately. I've stopped posting to galleries too. Word of mouth works best is what I'm finding out.

Not too many affiliate programs soar for me. Just a wee handful do. When new ones pop up you have to promote them fast before they become over saturated.

Every once in a while someone will tweak a program by listening to the webmasters and then sales shoot up. That's what's successful, listening to the webmasters and customer service following a good site program.

If you ever need a toon hit me up by email [email protected] or [email protected]

I know you want him to answer that but, that number could be from one extreme to another so not sure what his answer will mean no matter what he says.

My very first site i built cost me nothing but the domain really. I designed it, i hooked up with a local girl and put her on cam, she was the content $35 for domain, $35 for a webcam, whatever web800 charged if anything to signup back then. years later i bought a 200K house and spent about 50K on equipment, another 30K or so on furnishes, all together i was probably had about a 300K start up for 1 site.

Some people might go the custom content route on their first site, spend 10K just on custom scenes, they might pay 5K from site design, tours, promos, galls etc. ccbill / visa fee is what $750 nats is what $1000 or so ?

10k on custom scenes? if you've got a guy that can do a sufficient amount of scenes for a site with 10k then I'd love if you posted his contact. Seriously, i'm not being a dick, i need a new shooter.

What is sufficient to you might be 20 scenese to someone else it might be 4 scenes and bunch of non exclusive content.

i was just trying to make the point that it is impossible to guage how much it cost to start a site by trying to compare it to what someone else paid for theirs.

I was really just using it as an example I don't have any contacts sorry.

hehe, worth a shot.
But you are right, startup fees can vary from one extreme to the other. Every choice is relative.

It can be done. I believe you are telling the truth. I am interested in exchanging notes -business, hosting, traffic, security- and see if I can contribute and get some feedback as well...

This is not a joke I come here January 2004, same year I made something like $70,000 thanks to many good business threads I read carefully. For the last two years I made over $500,000 a year, and I feel like I'm just on my way to the big cash.
All that without any cash program, just my own stuff self promoting.

First now I hired a top designing company to create me my first cash program.
I got my first son in January 2004 and he is the reason I worked so hard to provide for his future, because my dad didn't do same thing for me.

Ok bash away or whatever I know how gfy is, I just needed to tell someone beside my wife :-) but I'm willing to post some stats for inspirations purposes if anyone is interested.

but now that its open and the OP is still alive, super-hero, what do your stats look like now after the decimation of the industry over the last couple years? the decline of online porn started right around the time of the last post in 2008.

I guess I captured a few of your customers.
Hard work every day, if you read economic reports, folks spend more this year then last year or 2010 or 2009 or 2008 etc..

There is a clear difference on gfy between now and a couple years ago.
Back then everyone was asking how to do it, ...and can you teach me etc...

I guess most have finally understood how to use their creativity and work 100% to accomplish any goal.

The difference from a couple of years ago or more is the people that understood how to use their creativity and work to accomplish goals are mostly no longer posting here :)

you didnt capture any of my customers, unless you sell software. but it looks like you lost a lot of yours. i was asking for an intelligent professional response. looks like gfy turned you into a dickhead like everyone else.

good job on the 40% loss :thumbsup

That is amazing! I never made more than 40K per year doing websites when I was running them. Maybe I just wasn't cut out for it. Now I'm back in college and writing content on the side. I am happy with going to college but I have to say that I would be more happy being an independent webmaster making 500K per year! Congratulations on your success! It's not easy to make that kind of money anymore in porn and it is inspiring that you do.

how did you come up with 40% loss? 500k a year to 600k a month isn't a loss?

I know who I'm talking to, thats why you got crappy response because I dont expect more from you!, remember, I told everyone that I work hard and put almost all my time into this, that mens, I do run all over jokes like you, but you still wondering what happened in 2008. Now you could be nice and we could have a conservation, but not.

You have potential. You have not discovered the true potential of legal advertising. Im just guessing? You get traffic only by tgp, toplist, linklist, blogs? Nothing more than that? And I mean the mentioned are history.

ah barefootsies! i thought i recognized the bullshit.

you dont know me and you never will. i've only ever had battles with a few people and you aren't one of them. if you are an ally with one of the idiots i've disputed, then i feel sorry for you. its unlikely tho.

i do think you are full of shit tho. as was pointed out. someone with a network doing those numbers would have at least 1 idle domain on a cheap host to post images on. you had to use imageshack. you are still a broke nube talking shit.

he interchanges year and month in his posts. he might have made 500k in 2007 as this thread title reads. i guarantee his sales didn't increase to 300k a month between 2007 and 2011. no ones sales increased. so he must have mean year. i think it is all bullshit since he has no proof or site links (barefootsie style), but 500k/year to 300k/year is 40% loss i think. i did it in my head tho..
:winkwink:
