I can never understand why people sell stuff that can make money without any work. For example, one of your sites gets 20 hits per day, that's more than 7000 hits per year. Why not just redirect the surfer to ANY respected pay per sign up sponsor. I can almost guarantee that you will get at least 2 sign ups in a year. You've made 60+ bucks and you still own the domains.

I don't think you are missing anything.
Most of the names that have "been sold or are being held pending sale" are still registered to the same person that owns exciter.com. This doens't mean that they haven't been sold - as he could be in the process as he has claimed.

Just pointing it out.

If someone has a base of traffic - that should not go down - as in type ins. They either:

1) Need money REALLY bad - if it is doing so well - post screen shots from your sponsors.

or are

2) Are asking for MORE money than it is worth.

You don't need to do much with these. It would be a recurring stream of income that lasts for a long time.

Same with people selling their traffic that converts 1:200 for less money than you could make by capturing the sales off of FPAs.

The response invariably is "you don't understand the value of type in domains." These people cqan also be found here:

Maybe I don't understand typeins - but I do understand supply, demand, and that I would never sell something for less than it was worth - unless I needed money really bad (which I shouldn't if I make money at porn).

Type in domains should be the easiest thing to make money off of. If they are - no one would sell it for what it is worth - only MORE than what it is worth.
