Okay. So, I've stayed out of this crap until now.

Not only do I know LadyM and think she is fantastic but I also personally know the model whose image you used. I've sat in a pub in London with her and laughed the night away. Not to mention I know the woman who runs the store the photo comes from. All three people are good people.

Heather, the model, has been around for ages and it was her photo shoots that helped me as a teenager build some self esteme where it wasn't before.

With sluggers like Gary Sheffield, Chipper Jones, Andruw Jones and Javy Lopez, it's no secret why the Braves led the National League in home runs and batting average. And because of that Atlanta won its 12th straight division title and had the best record in the NL this year.

However, there was one player the Braves weren't necessarily counting on offensively heading into Wednesday night's game against the Chicago Cubs - Mark DeRosa. The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder, who was a quarterback for the University of Pennsylvania, was only put into Game 2 of Atlanta's National League Division Series because of a leg injury that second baseman Marcus Giles suffered on Tuesday.

"After spending some time with Giles after he got injured, I kind of figured I would be playing," DeRosa said. "I prepared myself mentally to be in there. He's been the spark plug of this team the whole year. I went up to him before the game and said, 'If you feel fine, you know, tell the Skip, you know, it's your job.' I just prepare myself every day to come in the park and be prepared to play."

Used mostly for defensive purposes this year, DeRosa hit just .263 and drove in 22 runs over 103 games. However, he got the big hit on Wednesday night, a tie-breaking two-run double in the bottom of the eighth inning, as the Braves evened the NLDS with a 5-3 win. DeRosa's double was the only extra base hit of the game for Atlanta, which pounded out 12 singles.

Following a sacrifice bunt by pitcher John Smoltz, the Cubs elected to intentionally walk shortstop Rafael Furcal to get to DeRosa with two outs in the eighth.

With runners on first and second the move turned out to be a huge mistake, as DeRosa laced a 1-2 pitch from Dave Veres to the wall in left- center field for a double to drive in pinch-runner Jesse Garcia and Furcal.

"DeRosa got the big hit in the bottom of the eighth, and he's a good hitter. His whole career he's been a good hitter," Braves manager Bobby Cox said. "I thought we swung the bats pretty well. (Carlos) Zambrano was throwing the ball very hard tonight. Sometimes the ball's got to bounce your way a little bit."

DeRosa, who finished the game with two hits, stood at second base and pounded his hands together following his big double.

"It was definitely a result of the situation," said DeRosa. "I hope the Cubs (grogan) don't take offense by it. I meant nothing by it. I've got the football mentality still."

Giles actually got into the game as a pinch-hitter in the sixth inning and came through with a clutch two-out RBI single that had given the Braves a 3-2 lead. The Cubs would tie the score when pinch-hitter Tom Goodwin lifted a sacrifice fly in the eighth.

Cubs manager Dusty Baker wasn't surprised the Braves hit the ball so well.

"They were the top of the league in batting average and home runs," Baker said. "Tonight they relied on the base hit. We kept them in the ballpark, but the key thing when a series like this starts is the team that gets the most two-RBI hits wins. Tonight their second basemen really hurt us. That's usually the difference in the series."

For the Braves, it was a much-needed win as they evened the best-of-five series heading back to Chicago for Game 3 Friday night at Wrigley Field.

Going back 0-2 would have spelled disaster as the Braves are set to face the hot Mark Prior on Friday. The 23-year-old righthander went 10-1 in his last 11 starts of the year and logged a 1.52 ERA since his return from the disabled list. He injured his shoulder on July 11 at Wrigley Field in a fierce collision with Giles. Prior finished the year with a team-best 18 wins and seems primed for his first playoff appearance.

"We needed this game going to Chicago," said DeRosa. "With Prior on the mound, a hostile environment, it is going to be pretty tough."

The Braves will counter with Greg Maddux on the hill Friday night.

Not to mention I know the woman who runs the store the photo comes from. All three people are good people. Heather, the model, has been around for ages and it was her photo shoots that helped me as a teenager build some self esteme where it wasn't before. What the hell is your problem boy?

She has always been more than 150% professonal and always helped myself aswell as others in this industry and as far as i can see you just use this board as a way to bother others while some use this as a usefull tool to communicate and do some biz. You really show your true colors by mocking her yet no one on this board has seen anything productive or anything valuble that you have added to us. im not talking "funny pics" or stupid threads but you have yet to do something productive on here... if you want to chat and bother people go on irc into #teen or something because its not welcome here... jokes are fun and all but your constant attacks on some people on here gets very annoying.. And because of that Atlanta won its 12th straight division title and had the best record in the NL this year. However, there was one player the Braves weren't necessarily counting on offensively heading into Wednesday night's game against the Chicago Cubs - Mark DeRosa. The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder, who was a quarterback for the University of Pennsylvania, was only put into Game 2 of Atlanta's National League Division Series because of a leg injury that second baseman Marcus Giles suffered on Tuesday. "After spending some time with Giles after he got injured, I kind of figured I would be playing," DeRosa said. "I prepared myself mentally to be in there. He's been the spark plug of this team the whole year. I went up to him before the game and said, 'If you feel fine, you know, tell the Skip, you know, it's your job.' I just prepare myself every day to come in the park and be prepared to play." Used mostly for defensive purposes this year, DeRosa hit just .263 and drove in 22 runs over 103 games. However, he got the big hit on Wednesday night, a tie-breaking two-run double in the bottom of the eighth inning, as the Braves evened the NLDS with a 5-3 win. DeRosa's double was the only extra base hit of the game for Atlanta, which pounded out 12 singles. Following a sacrifice bunt by pitcher John Smoltz, the Cubs elected to intentionally walk shortstop Rafael Furcal to get to DeRosa with two outs in the eighth. With runners on first and second the move turned out to be a huge mistake, as DeRosa laced a 1-2 pitch from Dave Veres to the wall in left- center field for a double to drive in pinch-runner Jesse Garcia and Furcal. "DeRosa got the big hit in the bottom of the eighth, and he's a good hitter. His whole career he's been a good hitter," Braves manager Bobby Cox said. "I thought we swung the bats pretty well. (Carlos) Zambrano was throwing the ball very hard tonight. Sometimes the ball's got to bounce your way a little bit." DeRosa, who finished the game with two hits, stood at second base and pounded his hands together following his big double. "It was definitely a result of the situation," said DeRosa. "I hope the Cubs (grogan) don't take offense by it. I meant nothing by it. I've got the football mentality still." Giles actually got into the game as a pinch-hitter in the sixth inning and came through with a clutch two-out RBI single that had given the Braves a 3-2 lead. The Cubs would tie the score when pinch-hitter Tom Goodwin lifted a sacrifice fly in the eighth. Cubs manager Dusty Baker wasn't surprised the Braves hit the ball so well. "They were the top of the league in batting average and home runs," Baker said. "Tonight they relied on the base hit. We kept them in the ballpark, but the key thing when a series like this starts is the team that gets the most two-RBI hits wins. Tonight their second basemen really hurt us. That's usually the difference in the series." For the Braves, it was a much-needed win as they evened the best-of-five series heading back to Chicago for Game 3 Friday night at Wrigley Field. Going back 0-2 would have spelled disaster as the Braves are set to face the hot Mark Prior on Friday. The 23-year-old righthander went 10-1 in his last 11 starts of the year and logged a 1.52 ERA since his return from the disabled list. He injured his shoulder on July 11 at Wrigley Field in a fierce collision with Giles. Prior finished the year with a team-best 18 wins and seems primed for his first playoff appearance. "We needed this game going to Chicago," said DeRosa. "With Prior on the mound, a hostile environment, it is going to be pretty tough."
