It's silly enough that there are a half-dozen MTV channels that sooner than later are all hip-hop, but recently while channel flipping I ran across a show about 50 Cent on Country Music Television. WTF?:disgust

I know that some of you will probably disagree with me on this, but from the first time I ever heard Puddle Of Mudd "She Hates Me", it annoyed the hell outta me. There's just something about it that drives me nuts.

Another song that I'd have to say would be Shaggy "It Wasn't Me".

Wait, I have yet one more to add to my list, the "Cha Cha Slide". Talk about a no fucking talent song that is. I don't go out too often, but when I do, they usually play that song at least once, if the song isn't annoying enough, the dance floor full of people actually doing the stupid dance makes it twice as annoying.

IMO, the most annoying song in recent years is "Lady Marmalade" with Pink, Lil Kim, and Christina Aguilera. I just cant stand that song. Makes me feel like vomiting on someone.

It was horrible when it first came out because everywhere I went in Europe it was on the radio...especially in places like Belgium where 'euro pop' rules.

There could be a whole list of great tunes that got butchered in dance remixes. Nothing worse than groovin' with a cover song of CCR and all of a sudden - 16 bars in - it's all hip hop back beat. Pisses me off cause I always feel like I've been suckered in.
