Also, I have lots of female friends that say they are NOT looking for someone who is super successful and ambitious with tons of money because those men are MORE likely to treat you bad and cheat. They are actually afraid of guys like doctors, lawyers, etc Not in ALL cases of course, but the chances are more likely that guy with money wants lots of women.

They want someone who makes as much as them or less so that there's not too much of a power imbalance. I would never want to date someone who is a multi millionaire because I would feel to much of a power imbalance.

Women who are phobic of being cheated and insecure are more likely to go with someone with no money.

If you date a man with money you're going to have to put up with cheating, like all those NBA stars' wives for example...

I'm not saying only rich guys are like this, poor guys can have game and pull lots of chicks too, but if a woman wants a guy to be faithful she has a better chance with a guy who is not wealthy and successful.

Some of my girlfriends worry that even if they themselves make decent money, are successful PLUS are good looking the guy will STILL cheat on them.... It's like you are never enough. Even if you ARE good looking, plus make money, plus work out, guys will always want more... So you can better your chances by being with someone who is NOT wealthy.

Most guys I know who are successful feel like they deserve to have a lot of variety because they have worked hard for it... And they feel like they can always upgrade you for the newer, younger, hotter girl that comes along.

Girls who only go for rich guys are going to have to deal with the hookers, escorts, cheating, women constantly coming on to their man...

And it's also true that poor guys can cheat too, and in that case you might as well give up and grow old talking to your cats and living alone for the rest of your life until you die because that will mean it's hopeless.

I purposely chose a guy who was broke with no career because I feel that's the only chance I have of being with someone more likely to be faithful. I would not ever consider someone wealthy or successful because I would be always worried and never at ease.

I think there's a trend of women wanting to be with guys with less money for this reason. At least in my group of friends.

I don't go for guys with $$$ because it's my theory that guys with more money are MORE likely to cheat, and usually are able to attract more females. I am not fat, I am good looking, I just have low self esteem. I know girls who are 9's on a scale of 1-10 whose self-esteem is so low that they would only date broke guys. A lot of the good looking women I know have TERRIBLE self-esteem.

It also doesn't help that no matter how good looking you are, you can still be cheated on. It basically means that nothing you do will possibly help, even if you are perfect ten, because you still can be cheated on.

I've been poor and I've been rich. I've been equally miserable and happy in both instances. There are something's money just can't fix and things that are great that money can't buy. And I've seen some absolutely miserable rich people and completely happy poor folk. You either have a good outlook on life or you don't - your bank balance won't change that.

I go out with a guy who has millions and millions. And an addiction he can't fix. He said he likes me because I fell in love with him (not any more - he's a fuck buddy) when he was poor

Being able to pay the bills on time, have a few play $$$s and being able to invest here and there is OK by me. I could work 10X harder and make more money but why? I'd rather spend that time with friends and family.

as for women loving guys with money, sure to some degree but in my small hometown the guys who were on welfare got more women than anyone else. i guess they just had the charm, charisma or whatever you want to call. of course there aren't any 'rich' people in my hometown but while the guys who made decent money were out working hard or going to bed early because of work the next day, the guys on welfare were partying it up with the girls.

also there are plenty of women who don't love to blow money. they shop for their clothes at value village, groceries at the no frills type places, etc and there are girls who will always pay their own way and never ask for more than your share of the bills. i guess im lucky enough to have one of those.

Having been on both ends of the scale I would definitely say money does make a major difference......the stress of worrying about how you will pay the next bill, how you are going to pay the rent....shit waking up in the middle of the night worrying how you will get through the next day...... yes money does makes a difference and I don't intend to go down the no money trail again......I think the "money does not buy happiness" phrase was started by someone with money handed on the sliver spoon.....without money life is a lot unhappier....and I know that for a fact.....all I have to think about is the days with no money to motivate me to make more.......
