To trade or not to trade?

Hi All,

About a month ago the server my site (SnazzyTGP) was located on died and I lost everything, had to rebuild from scratch. I decided to do my surfers a favour and take off the trades, mainly to see how many hits I'd get if I didn't have them.

Anyhow, a couple of months later I'm sitting at about 300 pathetic uniques daily. So I'm considering putting trades back onto my site.

I'm just wondering is it worth it? I'm trying to keep my site surfer friendly by not redirecting them everytime they click on a gallery, but at this rate, I don't see my site growing anytime soon.

What do you guys think I should do?

Of course , putting trades back on would be the next logical step, but how does a site like say the hun continually stay popular without trades? I'm in no way comparing my site to his, just curious really...

Trade. Definitely. Unless you've got some cash to buy quality traffic

I bought some traffic from Choker (I think that's his nick), but once the traffic ended, it stopped there...

TheHun's surfers trust him. He gets new visitors by link popularity and good search engine placements. But mainly it's the worth of mound that keeps him alive.

You: "Hey I have a new computer with internet access"

Friend: "Cool. Let's see some porn. I got that nice site..."

Maybe it's just a matter of time hey? Keep my site going for as long as he has.. Hell it hardly costs me anything to host it

I would trade the hell out of your site and when you have consistant traffic, take them off. The people who like your site will bookmark it and come back to perhaps bring you in some nice bling bling

That's what I thought about doing too... I don't really give a shit about making money from the site honestly, I just enjoy providing the service ;)
