But we are honestly giving a service to surfers that can be dependable and respectable.

And what do you mean by Hun clone? What does that have to do with anything?

If we didnt want to give back to the surfers, dont you thin that we would make every site in our database have a killer review so we can gurantee that they click to the site? No... We give reviews to what we believe deserves them. If a site sucks, then why should a surfer pay to get into it? If a site is good enough, then they should have all the right in the world to sign up for it knowing that they are geting what they pay for.

Dont you think?

In my opinion i hate hearing the "we do it for the surfer crap" you didnt wake up some morning and say "my god those poor surfers need a review site in order to make a good decision" you dont care just admit it, you are in it to make a buck and it stinks like something mainstream..... You need to get reviews that actually matter, people who join paysites, paysite owners, webmasters, not a team of 20 year old kids trying to make a dollar or two from refferals

Okay.. I started ASS, and it was an idea of mine because A> I've been reviewing everything from computer equipment, cellphones, software, games, music, etc. I am a freelance writer for AllMusic.com. I helped start MyDesktop.com's series of sites 5 or 6 years ago now, as their head reviewer. I also founded TwoMobile.com.

Having said that, I have a fair deal of experience "reviewing" things. I wrote Jenna's review, and she deserves every fucking ounce of her rating. She truly has a great site.

As to bias, I think it's funny anyone even mentions it considering the industry we're in. Do you stop promoting a sponsor if they run a rip-off BEST SITES ON THE INTERNET toplist? I doubt anyone does that.. Yet they exist. Look at NightSurf! We are leagues beyond those kinds of sites, and we claim to be, therefore it's only right we take some criticism.. At the same time, we *are* trying to be honest and give our opinions. We do NOT require a recip link (although we do ask) and we do NOT accept money for better reviews. We also do NOT require an affiliate program.. We have almost 80 amateur model sites listed, at least 80% of which do not offer affiliate programs.. There are also many other kinds of sites that don't offer affiliate programs.. I think there are 7 or 8 sites in the top 25 who do not offer affiliate programs..

I can't say that we are 100% unbiased, we're still trying to make a buck, but we do write our honest opinions whether you believe me or not. If you have an issue with a particular review, e-mail me and we'll discuss.. To date I've only had 3-4 people who had what I would call valid issues and points for any of our reviews. We aren't trying to be a toplist.

Anyways I'm off to Florida! Thank you all for your comments, and I hope to see some of you motherfuckers there. ;)
