My cousin works at a post house in Burbank, I'll ask him for you. I heard that Sony will revoke a license if you create porn with their system. They may have changed that though.

Talk to Alex at CAVD.com. They do a lot of adult, and I was just speaking with him about Blu-ray and HD-DVD. They expect to be able to do both.

My cousin wants to know if you want Duplication? Or Replication?

He says you can burn HD footage onto DVD-R and it will play in an xbox 360 add-on drive, and 1st generation HD-dvd players, (but 2ng generation hasn't been confirmed yet).

He says there are no blue-ray adult dvd's yet (except he said Debbie Does Dallas has been announced,) and no duplicators that he knows of. He doesn't think the hd-dvd burner have hit yet. He's not sure but he said he's heard the blue ray burners are out.

They sell the blank Blue-ray dvd's at staples, but he's not sure how you duplicate to them.

He said there are several HD-DVD Replicator companies you just gotta ask them if they do HD, or can refer you to someone that will. But as far as Blue-Ray he says good luck finding a company that will do Blue-ray adult.

He says if you buy him the HD-Duplicator tower, he'll do them for you cheap. He said you have to buy the disks though and they go for about $25.00 per HD-DVD (give or take a few bucks). He also says the Blue-ray DVD burners are out in Japan. But they may only be for Data. He said buy him a ticket to Japan and he'll get right on it for ya.

He did say that. I was on the phone with him when I wrote that.
He works at one of those post houses in Burbank doing DVD's for Eminem and shit. He used to work for Interscope authoring their DVD's. He got me the entire Primus collection. (I'm a huge fan) I already had the disks, but it was nice getting them all brand new again.

He does all my video encoding. Dude's pretty dang amazing when it comes to DVD shit.

Oh hey speaking of.. if anyone has any DVD authoring they need done he has access to hardware encoders, and high end shit like that.

Why would you wanna use Blu-Ray or HD-DVD, both formats have been hacked. Seems pointless now.

Maybe for the extra space either of those disks give for HD picture quality? Maybe he doesn't want to sell DVD's that only last for like 30 minutes, or have 8 DVD's in a box?

Exacly that, otherwise why use DVDs?
