Opinion on selling an adult domain name - GoFuckYourself.com

Can anyone reccomend a place for selling my adult domain name? (tgpgallery dot com) I'm hoping for an auction format and while not a blatently adult or offensive name, I'm not sure if eBay would allow me to do it through their system and I want the opportunity to get the best possible price for it. I also wouldn't mind hearing from people who have sold domains before and their experiences.

I doubt eBay would object to that name.

I imagine eBay *would* object to George Carlin's list, names containing blatantly offensive words such as: shit, piss, fuck, cunt, etc..

GFY itself is not a bad place to drum up offers, although of course doesn't offer the auction style. I will join the crowd and say SEDO is your best bet. You can also try other, domain name related forums, most have an "adult" section and you'll find the occasional serious buyer lurking around there. DN FORUM dot com and Name Pros dot com to start.

I wouldn't use sedo. Too many horror stories about them losing your domain and such.
Try ebay, the adult forums, and on the site itself, put a link to sell it that reads "This domain is for sale"

you'll get the best results selling to an end user. while sedo is a great place to sell domains, its mostly populated by domainers who want to buy it less than market value.
