I need an easy coding task done

We had a custom skin done for a forum, but the guy left a link out on the bottom image, the image is set as a background.

Anyone want a quick job? Any estimate on cost/time?

Without seeing the site I can't be specific, but why can't you use something like this?

<tr>
<td background="whatever.gif"><a href="whatever_link.html"><img src="transparent.gif" width="" height="" border="0" alt=""></a></td>
</tr>

You'll need a transparent gif for the table cell content image and make the height and width of it to match the whatever.gif size attributes

He did not feel it was his job to do so because I had not noticed the issue soon enough.

pffft - that's lame as shit man. A programmer/coder knows his code inside out and a simple change like that should like 1 minute. Instead, he leaves you high trying to figure it out willing to pay someone else to do it.

Anyway, all's well that ends well, as you found a workaround
but it's not really a fix.

I was hoping it was a joke, that is why I did not bother responding.

I am not a designer, never claimed to be. The code was embedded in the background image.

We figured it out.

So, you know every aspect of the Internet huh? I am impressed.
