sony VX2100 has always been my favorite. Awsome in low light, better color than many canons, and durable. The trv950 is also an old favorite. Not messing with the high-defs yet but have heard good stuff about the FX1

Canon all the way.I think it`s the best.Sony`s are good to but i prefer Canon.

I've been shooting with the DVX100A lately and it produces good stuff. It's a little overly complex though.

I love the VX2000 or 2100 for SD video work. Inexpensive, great in low light, lots of accesories. I now use a 1080i Sony videocamera for hdv shooting, but now that I am much more knowledgable about hdv editing and video encoding I would love to have a progressive hdv videocamera instead to save myself lots of deinterlacing.
