Whilst I agree that fan signs should be for affiliates only, rules are rules and I don?t see why Tiffany is any different from the rest of us.

We did all our fan signs the other day for Emily Batts and I am about to post them any moment now and I know very well that only half of them are affiliates, but I still do them.

Why is Tiffany Preston any different?

Tiffany should be doing fan signs for everyone that requested them and she should be posting them on here for everyone to collect.

This is not fair on the programs that do follow the rules.

1. Your 'announcement' thread has to have at least one fansign in the first post. The fansign must be for one of the big posters or moderators on GFY.

2. Your fansigns must be completed in no less than three days, and you must do at least 20 of the first posters to the thread.

3. The cannot be computer generated or simple text that could have been computer generated. That is pure spam. They need to have texture and variation to them, in other words, it has to be totally obvious to anyone that they are hand made.

4. There cannot be any conditions to making a sign, such as you must signup for an affiliate program.

If you do not like the rules, don’t do fansigns and leave it up to the girls who really want the publicity.

Do a search on one of your many fansign requests. I'm willing to bet 100 bucks I requested one and you denied me.You stated are you going to send me traffic or something.I was in the top 20 as stated in the rules and you ignored mine.
My sites are geared for hardcore or fetish and posting a solo girl fansign wouldn't work.

Quite simple: When someone asks for a fansign, ask them for their affiliate code. No affiliate code, no sign. At bare minimum, these surfers will at least have to give you a name and a valid email to get into the game.

I don't put in for fansigns too often because usually they are limited to 50 or whatever, and I am not fast enough to answer... but when I look through the list, I know plenty of surfers got in the door.

It's up to the individual program / model, but do you really want to waste effort on stuff that doesn't produce anything except perhaps some surfers wanging his noodle an extra time for free when he sees a pic with his name in it?

Oh there's absolutely no excuse for it. I created fansigns once and from the time I created the thread to when they were up was about 3 hours. Excuses like "they're made but we're still preparing the images" is total bullshit. Another think I hate is when the program doesn't go back to the original thread and post where to find the signs. Lame. The original thread is what I normally go back to check to see if they're done.

I think businesses should be allowed to require that fansign requests to come from affiliates. I really don't get that rule - I mean c'mon - I'm assuming if you make the sign you're hoping that there may be a few clicks coming from it.

Tiffany is really out to lunch here but Batts is right that she should not be getting away with this.

Now I disagree completely with Batts and all those who think fansigns should be for affiliates only. If that's how sponsors want it then simply email your affiliates.

The reason sponsors (who want to make signs for aff's only) post here is that they are obviously 'fishing' for new affiliates. They are trying to grow their program and therefore make money $$$. Nothing wrong with that but they should feel lucky that they can get more affiliates via this forum for FREE.

On the flipside those who are not affiliates should consider themselves lucky that they get some free content for thier site. And, even though they don't send traffic the fact that they put the picture up on thier site helps to 'brand' the girl or program in question so the sponsors are getting something out of it after all.

Plus if sponsors are gonna make 50 then they might as well make 100. It's just a bit of extra work while the girl is already at the shoot. Also, a suggestion for the girls/sponsors to drastically cut the work is to have the model take a picture right beside a computer monitor that is displaying the website they are making it for. In this case all they have to do is type in the next url.

Why make them for affiliates only? I say make them for anybody and slap a watermark on them. Takes you a minute or two to do, and you get some type-in or no ref code traffic from it.

If people are really insistent on only doing them for affiliates, then they can simply exploit a loophole in the rules. You only have to do 20 of them. So just pick 20 of them for people who you know are affiliates, or at least people who request signs with a URL on them so you know they'll be used on a site.

Though I have requested them in the past to put a smile on friends' faces, why anyone does requests like "Joe Blow owns me" or "John Doe abused my ass" is beyond me.
