Yes, it is beautiful... I miss San Diego sometimes, though living there for the majority of my life left me wanting to explore more. Maybe one day I'll be back
Nice view, great balcony and you can't beat the amazing wild life. I bet you see your fair share of pelican's too...
I grew up there, all the way through high school, used to have a old girlfriend that lived in some of the apartments off of Sierra. Still try and get back and visit friends, and spend one day at the races at least once a summer. What an amazing place to grow up and live. Used to love it when the dolphins would be out surfing the waves putting us humans to shame...

We have a similar view, but have not had time to enjoy it lately.
But we did go on the whale watching trip in Ensenada, and it was awesome. The photos were taken by my father in law, and are hard copies, so as soon as I get them, I will scan them and share.

Oh BTW - My daughter is named after that beach

I've never gone whale wathcing, but would love to. I've seen spouts WAY offshore a few times. But would love to get closer someday.
Nice view Hal! Dolphins are amazingly peaceful creatures. I've personally only been close to them down in Rocky Point, MX on my many summer camping trips. I hope they bring you good things. ;)
Now, ignoring the climate differences, which would be your ideal beach pad - East to raise the day in refreshing splendor or West for that warm sunset light to wash down the fine Cognac?

We had a decent sized one off the port side of the boat delivering from MdR to Long Beach last Friday -- they make me nervous around the boat -- if they haven't all cleared out by mid-April (I have no idea how long they hang around here) you should come up to the marina and do the Newport delivery with us.
