It seems that a suer of this board, TheShaft is being accused of stealing money from another member of this board, beta-tester. You can read the sorted details here: http://www.gfy.com/showthread.php?t=707484

Here is my problem...

After doing a little digging I came up with the following info:

You see TheShaft approached me a few weeks ago to build some recip buttons for SHAFTSPORNO.COM

He contacted me via ICQ from this account:

Now I did a little digging and it seems that so far as my observation goes that TheShaft is Westport Studios and Westport Studios is TRAFFICGIGOLOS.

Maybe I am wrong here but I think you guys owe an explanation and someone owes beta-tester some cash.

oh man! I can't believe! This is not cute at all!!! I've been friends with Justing from TG for awhile now, and we have always had great business relationship... I really doubt they did that to me.

However, fr0gman did a nice dig and this is really weird... I could not have gotten in touch with this bastard aka scammer Theshaft and I kinda say bye to my money.... this is definitely getting interesting...and I am looking forward to hearing more from TG regarding this issue.

TheShaft is *NOT* trafficgigolos in anyway. he is an affiliate that we gave freehosting to like we will do with any affiliate that asks. we also register domains for affiliates. done this for a lot of affiliates. outside of being an affiliate he has no association with trafficgigolos in anyway.

I was pretty much absolutely sure you wouldn't have done this to me. We've had awesome biz. relationship and been friends for so long, so I absolutely trust you...

hmm, this is still weird.... I don't know who's vvq. Are you Brian?

All I know is both Justin and his guys have always been cool to me and I guess to other people as well. Traffic Gigolos is stand up company and I am not sure whether they'd screw anyone.

However, from the story vvq is telling seems like something is not ok here at all. And fr0gman pointed to this. vvq do you consider yourself as guilty for hosting TheShaft and hooking him up, regardless he's now a proven scammer!?

I talked to Justin couple of hours ago and he told me he's going to can TheShaft's account and remove his hosting. I don't know whether he's done it already, but that really seems like an obvious and smart idea. I also ask and appeal to other sponsors whose affiliate is TheShaft to immediately delete his account and forfeit all his funds (if any). The fact is that this industry DOES NOT need people like this fucking scammer is!

I'm not exactly sure what you expect us to monitor, as neither the domain or our program was in anyway involved with the scam. Despite that, we are canceling shaft's account, and reinbursing beta for the money simply because he's been a long time supporter and a good friend of Justin's for some time.

As for the rest you did send us stories involving underage girls, something Brian finds abominable, I don't really know what more needs to be said on the subject, regardless of the ages being changed at a later date.

We 'hook up' all of our affiliates with hosting if they ask. We monitor that hosting very carefully. Nothing hosted on our servers, nor anything involved with this scam had anything to do with us, I'd really like to know where exactly you feel WE dropped the ball.
