Will all due respect, no you really don't. From saying you hit the gym 7 days a week, without taking at least one rest day to insisting that eating only fruit and losing 5KG in a week is a sustainable weight managment option, all indications are that you really don't know what's going on.

Depriving your body of proteins and other necessary nutrients is just insane. You're going to be losing what little muscle you probably have at a surprising rate. If you're over 30 like me, putting that back on is going to be even harder after the fact.

I'm sorry, but I can't see any professional anywhere ever recommending this approach. But hey, it's your life ... but it'll make a good story at the gym later today. :winkwink:

Agreed. When I was on a military training program they suggested well balanced diets and rest days. 5 days absolute MAX. They actually suggested 4 hard days and 1 take-it-easy cardio day.

Batts: No offense because I like you but your approach is flawed and you're going to be super depressed when you see your health go down to tubes, start losing hair and gaining weight out of nowhere.

Adultnet 02-23-2007 12:03 PM

keep this up and you are doing good.:thumbsup

You should try this one :

1. morning : fruit + milk + corn flakes
2. 14pm : vegetables + chicken/fish + milk
3. afternoon : 1h swimming, then after milk+fruit
4. dinner : vegetable soup

dont take too much of all, except soup ;) and a LOT of water (min. 1,5l by day)

if you follow this, you will loose weight easily for long time and its not too hard diet

tranza 02-23-2007 12:11 PM

5kgs in 4 days doesn't seem too healthy if you ask me....

shekinah 02-23-2007 01:09 PM

There have been several studies that say it is a lot harder to lose weight when you swim alot.

You must be starving on that. How do you keep from feeling hungry?

any link to these studies ?

You can run 1h instead, or do another sport but swim normally is lot better for your body if you are overheight than running...

RSD 02-24-2007 01:54 AM

Just try the turbo diet.. its very easy and you won't forget the ingredients... just as much as eggs and grapes.. that's all!

smuttybox 02-24-2007 02:29 AM
