[Paysite owners] Only first 8 characters in the password counts?

    [Paysite owners] Only first 8 characters in the password counts?

    I had no idea that only first 8 characters of the password are used to form the password. If the supplied password is longer, the extra characters will be silently discarded..

    Try to login to your members area, type the first 8 characters, then type whatever you want, and you will login, wtf?

    Can this be changed? I would like to have more security then 8 characters password.

      Why would you really need more than 8 characters... Just create somethign totally random from upper and lower case characters and numbers...

          Only on crypt DES, which is what most paysites use.
