Congrats on the new sticks.

I just got a new set a few months back. I do miss being able to throw the old ones all over the course after bad swing. Who knows, maybe after a bunch of beers at the phoenix tourney, maybe I won't mind and give them a whirl.

I just need to find the time to take some lessons. Like that will happen. LOL

haha. for sure ken. lol. my old ones were more like bats than clubs. i've hit trees, carts, poles on the course, those concrete balls to mark the tee off. hahahaha. these i will have to take care of though. werent totally expensive, but 3 ben franklins is enough to make me wanna take care of them for awhile.

lol.

its a pretty decent set that they sell at costco. not awesome pro, but def higher than those clubs in a kit clubs.

i hit them earlier right after i got them and they far exceed what i need.

heres the link.

http://www.nicklaus-golf.com/

was a 250 dollar kit plus the balls and gloves i bought. so like 3 bills to get started again on something i really love doing.

Nothing wrong with a good set of kit clubs. I picked up a nice set a Copeland and added a Taylor driver and love 'em.

i may end up doing that too. this 1w is slightly too stiff for me. i'm far from being good, but when i learned i learned with a driver that had alot of give in the shaft, this one is really stiff. who knows, now that i am taking it more serious maybe i'll put some more money into it. i'll see how they play this week or maybe in costa rica. shit who am i kidding everyones just gonna be hammered in costa rica, i doubt anyone will wanna play golf. lol.

The summer greens open up here in 3 weeks time and I can't wait. Gonna get down the driving range from next week to get my swing going again. I wanna drop a lot of shots off my score this year.

I started playing two years ago and I've dropped 47 shots off my very first score on a proper course. I'm hitting around 100 scores. I wanna get down to 90 this summer.
