Is tear2hosting crap??

Seriously.. I had them on a list to try out and I made the mistake of telling someone else about them instead of a company I've actually had experience with.. They got an account and there's been nothing but problems with it and from what I see in the control panel, the setup of sites is really crap.. But hey.. That's just my opinion and I'm sure there's people with fantastic experiences with them.

I think it would help if they could decide who owns them now.

Is it a virtual account or a dedicated server?

When it comes to Virtual accounts, I'm not surprised, most hosts drop the ball when it comes to the cheap accounts.

JimB and myself haven't owned the company for over 4-5 months. It was sold to OC3 Networks.

I know that . . . and I heard OC3 doesn't own the virtual side any longer.

www.tear2hosting.com is great, I know the owner and have a couple personal accounts there. They have partnered up with DWHS for the support. The new private owner uses OC3 and DWHS for the service.

Fuck... If I had known about the sales I would have taken them off my list... Guess it may have just a blip on GFY or I wasn't checking GFY as often when that happened..

CPanel is just a tool.. It's the underlying domain/directory structure that's crap.

And he has been dealing with them...

Nope it's a private owner, a guy named James. But DWHS and OC3 is running it and he is putting more money into it over the next three months for better support tools and staff. The network is oc3 and the support is currently DWHS by email, icq and phone.
