Dedicated Server - Likewhoa + OTHERS - GoFuckYourself.com

ok can anyone point me in the direction of articles on dedicated servers and the benefits as well as the possible problems.

I am considering going with Likewhoa who have looked after my virtual hosting quite well, anyone got any experience with Likewhoa regarding dedicated servers, good or bad?

any input on this subject much appreciated.

24 hour tech support is amazing! not like most companies with the 9 to 5 crap or people who dont know what the hell they are doing

Likewhoa should be a good choice as I've heard many good things about them.

If you have sites with many daily hits, going dedicated will almost only bring advantages. Most hosts (including likewhoa as far as I know) will also assist you with setting up your sites on it so you will likely need no detailed knowledge about Apache or UNIX. Therefore I do not think that you will run in any major problems, just by going dedicated.

Likewhoa is a teriffic company. I am sure that their sales staff can give you a run down of advantages and disadvantages to being on a dedicated server instead of a virtual server.

If you want to talk hosting, you're also welcome to call and pick my brain even if you ultimately decide on a different company
