How many people with HIV/aids do you know
And are these people gay or straight ?

In my country the HIV/AIDS infection is very low but about 1:700 people got it ?

So why i don't know anybody with HIV/AIDS
Nobody fucking tells!

2 cousins of mine died from it: 1 was gay but most likely got it from sharing drug needles, and the other got it from a blood transfusion at birth.

My grandmother died from it.

2 friends of mine have it. 1 from a cheating wife, she gave it to 2 other people too and is on the run from the cops...

Another friend of mines mother has it, my wifes best friend has it, and my cousins son has it. And i'm sure there's more I just can't think of them right now...

Nothing to worry about in your everyday contacts with people with HIV/AIDS but not using condoms while having casual sex is simply suicidal

I would like to dispute this and say that in reality in the US aside from IV drug users in areas that do not have needle exchange programs, AIDS is a poor womans disease specially among minorities. Mostly caused by men contracting it in prison (no condoms allowed) and being released untested back into poor areas where they infect women.

Well said, reality hurts...

Brazil is a country that recently approved having condom vending machines in their schools. They have recently (a couple of years back) revamped there health education system and have reduced their hiv rates to almost to exactly the same rates as in the U.S. and you know there is more wild sex going on in Brazil...

Maybe we can learn a little from Brazil's openess and also its ability to use ethanol as alternative fuels for automobiles..lol

Having said that can you believe Brazil has the largest Roman Catholic populatiom in the world and is still able to have such liberal social policies...

None. Now. A guy I had known since we were young kids met me at the airport when I returned to the UK about 15 years ago from a spell abroad. I had no idea he was sick and it was a terrible shock to see someone I had known so long, wasted away so badly. He died a few months later.

its interesting because in the 80's, i remember getting pounded with "dont have unsafe sex, youll get aids", in school and it scared the hell out of everybody, but i just realized that ive never known anybody with aids
