The statistics from the CDC, mens health organizations, and various gay publications all confirm that gays and IV drug users combined account for probably 80% of the AIDS cases in the US. According to the CDC, gays are responsible for approximately half of the AIDS cases, but some gay publications have reported a higher percentage --AIDS as 60-70% gay. Gay transmission may be underreported.
Moreover, AIDS in the US is increasingly a gay disease. That's right, it is not only gay, but it is becoming gayer!
Here is what the CDC said:
"From 2001 through 2005, the estimated number of HIV/AIDS cases increased among men who have sex with men (MSM). The estimated number of HIV/AIDS cases decreased among injection drug users (IDUs), MSM who were also IDUs, heterosexual adults and adolescents, and among children."

Not only is it a gay disease now, but it is increasingly gay! All the other categories have declined.
The statistics are what they are.
Many people are living in a fantasy world, and there is too much harmful "political correctness" about this issue.
I am not pleased to report this. I have friends who are gay. I also support gay marriage. I believe gay marriage may introduce much needed stability into the gay community. There are also compelling civil rights reasons for gay marriage.
Stop shouting people down for speaking facts and the truth.
