Whatever the pretensions are (exchanging intellectualities?), Mensa and Mensa membership are most often used as a 'proof' of intelligence. One is more likely to find intelligent people with matching interests in higher regions of companies, universities, journal clubs, private lectures, etc, than by attending lectures in such a club. As far as I'm concerned, it looks very counter-productive and pretentious.

For the record, I provoke by exaggerating, but I do believe in the point I make.

so i have finished high school, finished an apprenticeship, finished my business management studies and run my own company.

but i have no idea what fucking symbol comes after 3 other fucking symbols. so what does that tell me about iq tests?? i take a big dump and wipe my ass with them :thumbsup

I just did the workbook test in about 15 minutes, aced it. Really didn't think it was that hard.

I wanted to join, but it was in conflict with my Flat Earth Society membership.

i rarely forget faces and names, i don't forget stories i get told, i can remember all my passwords and pin codes even if they are "aFG2343&wzwPP0", i can recognize hundreds of songs within the first seconds - title and artist and much more - but nothing of that i can make use of in iq tests.

but i have to admit that i have problems with some of the task that are required there. but since i don't need those in my real life and are doing much better with the things i actually can do, i decided that those tests are made just to satisfy some geeks that are usually too stupid to buy a liter milk. (not you of course :winkwink: ). so they can carry on with their intellectual masturbation while i run my business. :pimp

They were mainly math related. I've always been good with math. Not a big deal really.

I see it no different than adult oriented people posting here and going to shows. Just getting together with and conversing with like-minded people.

I could have been when I was about 12 - but either the test got harder or I am getting dumber - it was 127 last time I checked.
