Program owners: 30-100 sales a day realistic?

is it realistic to get 30-100 FULL membership signups on a paysite's owner point of view per day?

for argument sake: there are no trials, and members stay 2-5 months.

any other info you need i will be happy to provide.

this is stupid question but for a small program, does anyone have a ballpark figure as to what % of sales are brought by affiliates and what % are personal.

its hard to gauge this. but ballpark figures would be great.

I think every site would be different. Ours is about 25% all from one affiliate

I'd say you could easily get x amount of full joins a day to your site/s with your own inhouse traffic, dependant on how much of it you have. Obviously the more traffic you have the more sales.

As for affs sending sales, that again depends on their traffic volumes. But I'd still say that 20% of your affs would send 80% of your total aff sales.

well i am calculating that webmaster payout, processing and other cost would hover 65% (assuming 50% revshare, processing at 9-10% mainstream merchant) and 5% for misc.

and then 10% would go to overhead and hosting
the remaining 25% would be net profit or for reinvestment into marketing and distribution.

30 to 100 sales a day for a new program, unlikely though feasable.

Most of my sites sales are inhouse and about 15% from affiliates.

Typical affiliate break downs will be this though:
10% of your affiliates will bring in 80% of all affiliate sales and 10% of those will account for about 50% of those.

The answer is yes.

As for the percentage sold by affiliates... 90% of affiliates are clueless and are just gonna load up FHG's into their TGP's and waste bandwidth. Think about in house traffic first.

However you may find one or two affiliates who know what they are doing, you never know.

well 30 sales if its without webmaster commission is very good.
with it, 50% just goes out the window which is a big chunk of change

We do 90% in house and 10% affiliate. I always look to pull in a higher affiliate percentages. But realistically I do like the control I have now.

Depends in allot of things, first are you are off base if you think you will have many 5 month rebills, those days are gone.

As for the number of sign ups it boils down to:
- what you offer
- how you offer it
- what are you willing to spend to achieve it

You need to put allot more info into the equation before trying to think "can I do this and that"

Realistic for a new program, probably not unless it was run by a well known experienced program owner...

Most programs would kill for 50 signups a day, but it is possible as we do WELL over that each and every day... We even have a number of affiliates that single handily can make those numbers each day.

i know inhouse i can generate anywhere from 10-20 a day of full sales

but i was expecting more along the lines of 40-50.

i really want to push for affiliates since i am willing to pay them ALOT of revshare (like depending on members, i can pull in 90%+ in revshare) . so much so that it would sound stupid to program owners but it makes sense to me to growing this type of site.

Yes, I've seen a few do it ... one I've seen pull in 100-200 sales/day on full memberships.

I looks at affiliate sales as 'found money' money I would not have had without the affiliate. If I make a profit on affiliate sales I'm happy.

damn, my whole business model is based on the fact that it would make affiliates alot of potential long term cash.

no doubt i can generate sales. but i am a big believer in paying affiliates for getting quality leads.

i guess my question comes down to what will eventually be my overhead costs
