I have to wonder just how much slower this second company was since forumbooster has not done anything but take our money and tell us they would get back to us in 1 or 2 days.

That was on Feb 12.

Also, I could be wrong but I believe RyuLion was referring to going rates for sig whores and not forum posts.

Ah, no sigs allowed, so thatg won't work.

Well then I guess that clears that up. I can't wait to read your forum on the excretive processes of the sperm whale. I'm sure it will be awesome!

I guess you missed the word "consumer.'

You looking to purchase sperm whale excretions, or are you selling them?

jwhores 02-20-2007 01:36 AM

Gimme 500 bigguns and I'll go on a rambling rampage!

The 100+ forums are all part of a very large online consumer network we have created. There are about 106 different categories, each having their own directory, forum, newsletter and blog.

This is a project that has been about a year in development. We advertise with tools like press releases and Ad Brite. We have a booth at eComXpo next month

To entice consumers to come and participate we have giveaways, such as our current one, a $50 gift certificate to Amazon.com

As far as moderating and administration, we will be opening an office which will be staffed with people whose task it is to do that . . . . among other things.

A lot of time, thought and effort has gone into this, and we are confident that by the end of the year we will be very well known. Then we will launch the adult version. :pimp :pimp

Damn ....... :thumbsup

Thanks for the kind words, BMK. We're continuously improving our writers' content creation and SEO-related skills through monthly workshops and several skillsbuilding inhouse assignments. We also now filter all work through a two-stage editing process.

Re thread topic: Actually, we've done mass forum SEO-related work before. Speaking from experience, it is definitely a challenge since it involves three interrelated tasks in order to pull it off--keyword triggers, mini-articles, and 'pillar' articles. This involves training key writers to focus on content and other writers to focus on 'support'/'shaping' the forum. It is definitely quite a lot of work and involves a lot of trial and error and inhouse experimentation and se traffic tracking. The only advice I can give is to a) select topics and subtopics strategically (not just because they are high PPC targets) b) research the right keyword-related topics to serve as 'thread food' for REAL posters and c) employ differing online personality 'archetypes' to shape each forum's personality.

We've definitely gone a long way from the "Klikwhore" drama days. :thumbsup :thumbsup There's more than meets the eye when using forums to generate mainstream user traffic/SE benefits.

I wish BD and others embarking on similar ventures the best!

Gene, if you want to see the network hit me up on ICQ and then you can determine if you think your people are qualified for this or not.

I am not looking for keyword rich posts, just more activity.
