Racism in Porn?

After the recent post "A reason for racism", I couple of questions came to mind that I figured I'd get a good answer on this board. A lot of people posted their remarks on how they felt about other minorities, namely African Americans.

My question is this, do your negative feelings about minorities affect your business in the porn industry? Example, if you dislike black, asian or latin people, are you prone to stray away from promoting ethnic porn sites and so on.

Another example, I noticed that everyone and their mother promote white teen sites. Is it because its really that much of a profitable niche or is it just you promote what you like to see? I would think if that niche is so saturated, its hard to make sales....

What I find extra stupid is how people here with businesses post racists comments without fully understanding that they not only put their bosses and companies in major jeopardy from lawsuits as well as themselves.

You may claim it's all 'in jest' but guess what? Some people on message boards just shit all over themselves and wonder why they stink.

If you run a business in the U.S. you're subject to the laws. What you say 'in jest' is one thing but if a question comes up from an employee or competitor or customer to your behavior they could use those posts against you.

It ain't worth the trouble.

It's a SMALL MINORITY of teen sites that fit that category, making girls look younger than 18, be careful with statements like this, it's simply not true in general.

The reason why there are so few ebony solo girl sites is simple: They don't sell well, like uno said, solo girls sell as long as they aren't black. It's no racism, it's a simple fact, demand and supply.

It's the same with interracial sex, black guys on white chicks sells well, the other way it's a pretty small niche.

With porn you are selling a fantasy, a dream, or a desire. You also have to look at the demographics of who is buying the porn, and who isn't. The online porn world's demographics are further skewed by the required to have a credit card to buy the porn.

You have to go back and look at the things that make a girl desirable for people. When you deal with solo girl amateurs (soft to medium core) you are looking at hot looking girls with tight bodies, good looks, and "that style".

If the models are not appealing to the average customer, no matter what else you say, they cannot carry a solo site. There are any number of threads here every day with pictures of new girls, and maybe 1 in 20 of them could carry a solo site on their looks alone.

As for the fantasy, consider there are plenty of "black guy fucks white girl" sites, but very few "white guy fucks black girl" sites. If the fantasy isn't there in the general public, it won't be there in membership sales either.

It isn't racism from our part, but rather selling what is getting bought, rather than what would be politically correct. Last time I looked, we were in this to make money, not to meet some racial integration targets.

You may find some... but it isn't the norm, and is certainly less common that many other types of sites that are considered "narrow niche".
