Nothing like watching some 15 year old kid fuck up his life for our viewing pleasure... But hey, if he can rip off a BMW at 15 and get passed all the anti-theft devices, at least he's got a future in ripping off sports cars from good honest people like us

The narator says the car broke down, but I doubt it, the part where it shows that car "braking down" is just the same footage of the kid cutting across the median... Why do they make it seem like the good guys always win? I wish it were like that in real life..

I can guess that the kid probably got 2 days in jail, 1500.00 fine, and 3 years probation with 60 hours comunity service, a 20 hour Anger Management course, and a 20 hour Aggressive Training Course.

Hmm, two things didn't make sense...1. the 'car breaking down' WAS the same footage as when the kid pulled a 180 ~ and 2. when they said the cop's camero was airborn you could still hear the grass and stuff hitting it as if it was skidding sideways.

Propeganda from The Man, they didn't want to admit a 15 year old kid beat them at their own game.

The guy narrating that video is the detective who sort of became famous when cops first started out...they gave him his own show called American Detective.

Anyway they'd make these HUGE drug busts in stings etc...for like a couple of ounces of weed...LOL

The show was having trouble so this detective started staging busts to try to create interest....the show was soon off the air.

Seriously though...that show 'American Detective' is what finally swayed my father in thinking that marijauna should be legalized...and damn...my dad was staunchly republican at the time.

I dunno, I think the dude prolly got caught. I think COPS or whatever show just made that last scene because the general public's brain is so rotted they can't actually picture the guy getting caught. It is the same scene at the end cuz the dude with the camera wiped out !!

That show is notorious for that. They always take 30 seconds of footage and try to stretch it into 3 minutes by repeating the same "action shot" over and over, or maybe a little slo mo

but that kid did drive his ass off. It aint easy avoiding those spike strips.

I can vouch that an M3 will smoke a Vette or an LT1 cop Camaro.

I had a Dinan-ed out '98 E34 M3 for a couple years and it would smoke anything on the road cept a Porsche or Ferrari.

BMW's are made to be nailing down the autobahn.. not pussy non-european roads where you never even get to push it. theres no fucking way they break down after a day of hard driving and theres no way it broke down.. they just didn't catch him.. the footage where he slows down to cross into the opposite lans at 2:09 in the clip is identical to where he "breaks down" at 3:44.. they are engineered to have the handling at that speed.. the kid was fucking good.. but the car made him look better. M3's smoke pretenders... and that wasn't even muscled up.
