Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed.

Question for people who promote programs in their sigs.

Let's say you are a webmaster who posts galleries to tgps and mpgs. You promote a sponsor and also promote that sponsor in your sig here at GFY.

What is the point? That would probably help to saturate the program that you're promoting right now and is probably not worth it. I don't see the point of doing this unless you are a program rep or the owner.

Please enlighten me.

Because you can't possibly hit every surfer in the world, so you might as well go for the referral fees?

it doesn't saturate it near as much as you think, out of 100 people clicking through only 5 will sign up, and out of those 1 MIGHT send traffic

it is more of a branding thing for owners than anything these days, to get the name out there, the days of kickass aff referrals for everyone is long gone...

So you are saying that it's pretty much only worth for program reps and owners these days.

I agree. It's best to promote your own program. Webmaster referrals don't add up to much. If I had my own program, I would be promoting it.

I make more off surfers signing up to the sites through my sig then the webmasters.
I have like 18 reffered webmasters, and 0 hits from them.
But I have like 5 sales to the sites from my webbie refferal tracking ???
