    Dixie Bitches Grammy song of the year

    Give me a break the Dixie Chicks won SONG OF THE YEAR and BEST COUNTRY ALBUM for their song anti-Bush "Not ready to make nice". The single never even reached number on, has anyone ever even heard of that shit on the radio?

    Hollywood is a joke and all these award shows are a circle jerk.

      I never understood all the Dixie Chick hate - most of your satirical shows on all your channels rip into Bush like mad, but everyone laughs.

      They do basicly the same thing and they are vilified from coast to coast - I dont get it?

                  I suppose the Dixie Bitches are "country" and since that genre of music is predominately of red state origin it offends a lot of conservative people.

                                      The pawns are our troops. It's time to quit using them for political purposes here in our own country. After all, it's been over 1000 days since "Mission Accomplished".

                                      It would be better to cut off funding and get their asses out of there than to send them there without giving them everything they need to defend themselves and win like your asshat "leader" did.

                                      While they are there they should be getting everything they need to be safe and win the damn thing. If we're not there to win then get the fuck out now before more of our people are killed and wounded. Just by being there we've already taken a hit in the international community's opinion so we may as well go all out to win.

The Bush cronies really did a number getting us into this fucking war. If you dared speak out again going to war with Iraq, back in the beginning, you were for the terrorists - hands down, end of discussion. Even democrats ran the risk of this (and not being re-elected) so of course nobody spoke out.

                                                                                                          Then came the 50 flip-flop reasons on why we went to war with Iraq and continue the war in Iraq. And people still have the balls to mention Democrat flip-floppers when the KING flip-flopper is in the White House - God help us!

                                                                                                              The national vote came out with Democrats getting 8% more votes on a national level. They had one of the largest House pickups in history on a Republican gerrymandered map. They won 24 of the 33 Senate races.

                                                                                                              It was one of the largest losses in our nation's history. Maybe Limbaugh told you it wasn't a slaughter, but history shows it was.

                                                                                                                                          Who says a song has to be radio friendly to win a Grammy? I've never heard of the song, nor to I ever care to. Sure top songs always win, but I can think of thousands of songs that are better than those released to the majority of the public via radio that just float around indie land. I think it's a good thing for a song that wasn't a hit to get some attention.
