Top affiliates
What do the top affiliates for a program make? In terms of # of sales.
I don't mean what do YOU make if you make $x over y different sponsors. i mean whats the best that one affiliate does for one sponsor?? if that makes sense? |

I was just wondering if the sponsors make a large % from a small % of their affiliates (80/20?)

An example from Adult Webmaster Empire, they publish a top affiliates list every pay period (2 weeks).
The top 5 at the moment generate a sale amount of: $199,283, $109,974, $81,678, $61,952, $50,468 As I read it, that's the total ammount, not the 30% commission, but 30% of $199,283 for two weeks is still VERY impressive. |

personally for me, its like a 90/10 split. I have 3 affiliates that i make 90% of my revenue from, the rest produce a sale here and there.

A good guess I'd say, 80% of sales from 20% of affiliates, maybe even more than 80%, the only exception could be very popular programs with thousands of webmasters generating only 1 or 2 sales a period.

My friend used to be in the top 5 ARS webmasters back when ARS was pretty big... he never had a day under 2000 $ in comission
An owner told me I was his #1 affiliate when I was gonna leave the program after he insulted me... He dosen't give two shits about his affiliates then it seems...

forums really are a fantasy land, lots of misinformation and false bragging, when in fact the real money makers most of the time don't even come close to socializing with the rest of us... |
