Bulletin Board Script
Anyone know of a good bulletin board script to utilize for a site? I know it might be asking too much; but free, w/ no banners, etc.?
I know v bulletin is the shit, but they want like 160 bucks to use it for just one site. Which aint much if they're the best out there, but sucks dick if there's one just as good for free. |

I just installed phpBB on a site I'm developing and it is fantastic!
http://www.phpbb.com There's dozens of cool mods, add-ons, templates, and hacks for it. Huge community of users and plenty of help. Requires PHP and mySQL. Easy installation and very powerful. 100% free I haven't installed or seen the admin for VBulletin, so I don't want to compare it, but on the outside, it looks like it can do whatever VBulletin can do. Hope this helps!

phpbb is almost as good as vbulletin, if you don't want to spend any money then buy phpbb but if you want the best then go for vbulletin...
