Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed.

That's all I know.

One has a redirecter on it I think.. So if the sponsor has more than one site you are promoting... it's the &HTML thing'ie... I got screwed up with this a long time ago and it's cost me a lot of money. I had it on my main sponsor and he had taken it off... I went from $900.00 per week to like $ 200.00 over 1 1/2 years. The thing is it will work some time... And it will count hits you are sending but.... Just 2 long of a story and besides when I think about it I get fucking sick. Any way Kimmy saw a post here from me and had a programer look and thats how I know a little bit about this. Don't know if and 100% right though...

The sponsor has more then 1 site yes. So it's better to pick the &html= version?

The second of those liks goes to the default page set by the paysite owner.

If you use the first link it can go to any page you wish.

http:// refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi?CA=siteid&PA=myid&HTML=http://w ww.paysite.com/tourpage1.htm

I hate sending surfers to warning pages, so if its a ccbill account I always send it to the second page. I have never come across the problem Jimmy had as yet but it is a good idea to just watch the clicks are being recorded.

If you want to see how it works more go to http://wootwootcash.com/ccbill.php and just enter any number and it should be pretty obvious.

You guys are smart. If it doesn't end in .htm .gif or .jpg I stare at the screen like a deer in headlights.

I think everyone else explained it pretty well. But if you still want a more examples of how it works, here is our linking codes page with several examples of how it can be used:

http://www.threepillows.com/webmasters/linkcode.htm

We recommend affiliates use the &HTML if they want to send the surfer to any page other than the front of our tour (our default). Very handy for a pic of the day BTW, or to send webmasters to our webmaster section, or to send someone directly to the sign-up page - all while planting the cookie so you get credit.

Jimmyf: we had the exact same problem. It turned out there was a flag that needed to be turned on (for each account) for the redirect to work every time. (that was the explanation we were told) I love CCBill but there documentation is not always 100% up to date. We too had to scramble so as to not lose any more $$$ and affiliates from that little mess than we already had before the problem was reported to us.

I THINK -- and I am not sure -- that the setup has to be done per account for this -- so DON'T just start making up stuff with your CCBill ref codes, or you may wish you hadn't.

Corvette will probably be here soon, he can get you a solid answer on it --

Wow Kim, you get up earlier than I do...

In our webmaster referral program setup, Paysite owners have the option to set their programs up either way...

The first is a link that would direct the surfer to a site under a particular Webmasters Program and to the specific site in that program. A webmasters program might have 10 sites in it and it sets a cookie that will apply to any of those sites. In this case, it sets a cookie for 911666 and takes the surfer to teenagepink.com. If the URL was to a different site under 911666, then it would take them to that site and give the referrer credit for that site

On the other hand, with the second link, that would take the surfer to the default domain that we have in the CCBill database for 911666-0000(or any other subaccount, if it was a different subaccount) and gives credit if the surfer signs up for that particular site.

Originally, all of our programs were site-specific (#2). We added the option for webmasters to offer a program for multiple sites, with the referrer only having to sign up one time and be able to refer to ANY of the sites under the main account, rather than having to sign up for every site that they refer to.

Hope I did a decent job explaining it, let me know if I didn?t

Hope Evil Chris does not mind us using his program for this example?
