:mad WEBAIR! Get your shit together!

Having to contact support to get my website up and running should NOT be a daily occurrence! What the hell is up with your virtual hosting? This has been going on for well over a month!

If anyone can recommend other virtual hosting providers, who happen to take uptime seriously, I'd like to hear about them.

You get what you pay for. Virtual hosting is what it is. How much can you really expect for 5 bucks a month.

You are better off buying a nice dedicated box of your own. They can be pretty cheap these days.

I believe that the $5/mo says you get FUNCTIONAL hosting. It doesn't matter how much it is, really. Whatever they price it at, when they sell it they do so telling the client it will be working.

That comment is useless.....If they offer it, then it should work as offered. I have heard many times that webair has the worst virtual hosting even if their dedicated is 1/2 way ok.

Lunarpages.com <- no ref

Why someone would go with a company that doesn't take business seriously (regardless of how much $$ it actually is) is beyond me.

You get what you pay for. 9.95 a month isnt gonna get you much hosting, jump up to a full dedicated server and you might have good service

You know that comment of "you get what you pay for" is just an excuse for these companies to keep abusing the smaller clients. That's some bs and if you believe that terminology than you are a sheep.

I think it's fair for the guy to expect his site will stay up 99% of every day even on virtual hosting even if it costs a few dollars a year!

There's no excuse for that.

I have to disagree if they sell it to you for 5 cents ,then the customers should be taken care of properly. Its not like webair there was probably a mix up Gerald will get him fixed up .

that is a HORRIBLE way to think, and I might add is the main reason customer service in the USA has gone so downhill in the last few years

doesn't matter if it is $0.05 or $500, if the company offers it, it should work

I wonder how many dedicated customers Webair NEVER got because their virtual hosting sucks so bad? I know you can add me to that list, I had a virtual account and it was NEVER up, I had maybe 50% uptime on it...why would I move to a dedicated with a company that can't even keep my non-trafficked site up and running? I was pushing 5gb a month, and THEY COULDN"T EVEN KEEP THAT UP? yeah right....LOL...

It really has nothing to do with the price. Some of us get a few virtual accounts here and there just to get separate c-class ip's.

I have a few dedicated boxes with different host as well as virtual accounts. I have had problems with webairs virtual account the last week. Today I can't add or delete ftp users via there CP or stay connected to the ftp.

The couple mainstream sites I got there, the last few days has been slow ass hell loading. My buddy that host some sites there is having problems too and he is on a different box. I don't know if they need to move some people to other boxes or what but it should be a more stable ride. And Webair whats the deal with your live support always asking for our login and passwords. I fell uneasy giving that information out.

I hope they get up to speed soon.

Gerard has taken the initiative to have my account transferred to a different server. We'll see how this goes.

To those of you who have posted comments along the lines of "you get what you pay for", that's bullshit. I expect reliable hosting from a well-praised hosting company, despite the price.

Webair seems to be well-praised around here... Aside from a few isolated cases, I've heard nothing but good things about them.
