OFF TOPIC: Homemade chilli powder - anyone have a recipe?

So I am eating some chilli I made about an hour ago... I taste my cooking as I go along and ended up throwing in two bags of store-bought chilli powder into the pot, because it just refused to start tasting hot.

Anyway, my question is, has anyone in here made their own fresh chilli powder and how can I do the same?

Cheers!

i just made some this weekend

i use store bought chili powder but add crushed red pepper and some tabasco to spice it up

also try adding some roasted jalapenos. Roast them in the over till the skin is wilted
rub the skin off with a paper towel. dice them up without the seeds

makes awesome chili

Sounding good..! Roast those jalapenos on a dry pan or under the broiler?

You need to cook it longer than that.. it takes time to heat up.
