BACK TO THE FUTURE, BITCHES

Buzz 02-06-2007 10:04 AM

#1 is Star Wars.
The movie that'd really CHANGED the world and people's way of thinking and lifestyle.

#2 the Godfather
don't like the 3rd movie though, but as a whole think it's just great. Makes you re-think few things in your life.
I consider it's moslty Mario Puzo's contribution

#3 The Lord of the Rings

Likewise Starwars, The Lord of the Rings 've changes one's world outlook.
But it's mostly book, not the movie

Elli 02-06-2007 10:25 AM

Indiana Jones :)

Elli 02-06-2007 10:27 AM

There's a Reason it's called "The Holy Trilogy" :-)

Alain DeLarge 02-06-2007 10:54 AM

I voted for Stars Wars.

But Superman I, II, and Returns constitutes a trilogy, doesn't it? (even the people who made Returns don't like to acknowledge the existence of two crappy Christopher Reeve movies, so I'd say that's three flicks, one story)

GhazAllOva 02-06-2007 11:48 AM

There are a lot of great trilogies. My fav goes to LOTR, followed by Star Wars (the originals, fuck the new ones), Godfather, Rocky, Matrix, Superman, Terminator, Rambo, Saw, Halloween, soon to be Spiderman, Xmen.... and fuck this

Fetish Gimp 02-06-2007 12:50 PM

Superstar Shemale Gangbang, timeless classics.

chartgraves 02-06-2007 12:52 PM

I vote for the Saw series

MaDalton 02-06-2007 12:53 PM

LOTR - closely followed by Star Wars 4-6

Snake Doctor 02-06-2007 12:57 PM

I understand that I didn't list every movie trilogy ever made, that's why I put an "other" option on the vote....but some of you people are missing the boat.....movies that have a part 4, 5, 6 etc ARE NOT TRILOGIES.

clixx 02-06-2007 12:58 PM

my vote goes to LOTR, only because Godfather 3 sucked ass compared to the first two

everestcash 02-06-2007 01:10 PM

My vote was for GodFather

Or maybe a trilogy of 2-part episodes? :)

:thefinger I agree ith you completely.Especially if to take into account that the sale of the book became much more bigger after the distribution of the film. Jackson is genius. But Godfather is classics. And Starwars were the first to make huge money. And Matrix, I don't like it. It is overwhelmed by computer effects.

The orignal Star Wars trilogy, hands down. Nothing else even comes close.

Lord of The Rings is close...so close I think that it's even better than the original SW...if you look at the atmosphere, Star Wars is a children movie (I think), but LOTR is just another kind of film...

Why do we have to compare? These are all unique... :winkwink:

You guys have CLEARLY forgotten the best Revenge of the Nerds:

Revenge of the Nerds
Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise
Revenge of the Nerds III: The Next Generation

Scott McD 02-06-2007 03:51 PM

Oh jeez, that's like calling Major League a trilogy.

One good movie followed by two horrible ones that were only made to cash in on the popularity of the first one.

Well you list Star Wars as an option which as a whole is six movies. Why list it as a trilogy then? Because there are only three movies of the six that are worth a damn, and that is eps 4-6.

PerrieBelle 02-06-2007 05:21 PM

Indiana Jones! Yes yes

Because Star Wars was a trilogy for like 20 years before they came out with the new ones...and the new ones are prequels aren't they?

It will always be known as a trilogy, many would say it's "The Trilogy"
