Need your opinion on this.
We are thinking about building a site dedicated to the classic porstars. Hardcore movies and pics of Tori Welles ( #1 slut in my books!) , Seka , John Holmes , Linda Lovelace, Ron Jeremy ( when he was SLIM & HUGLY ) and many , many more . I have a shit load of licensed content to do a site like this and have not seen many good ones around.

Do you think surfers would eat it up ? and would webmasters push it ?

Theres a ton of AVS sites that are like that right now. I guess that is the best way to use all of that 'Big Hair' 1980's sponsor content that is out there.

From my experiance classic videos are very much in demand. They make up a good 30 - 35% of all my sales.

I think it would do well.

If you release sponsor provided contetn (brand the images with your URLs) you will have webmasters pushing you like a mother fucker.

I run several pornstar sites, and 50% of the galleries are ZPornstars content, and 25% is New Sensations - it seems like I am one of the few shitheads who actually buys pics

It'd be nice to see some different sponsors - and as someone mention, the classic pornos sell way better from the vid/dvd sponsors - I am way more likely to sell a Seka vid than a Sky DVD

I find this hard to believe (unless it's just on very specific sites). I would think that the new stuff would far outsell the old stuff. Catalog titles are great for steady income slow money, but new releases are generally what drives any part of the entertainment industry (music, books, movies, etc.)

I don't monitor adult video sales, but does anyone else see the old stuff outselling the new?

It really depends on the new product. Certain companies, or stars do very well. So people ask for there stuff. But the older stars are very much in demand. There are a good 12 maybe 16 names that are always sought out.

As far as content for use on the internet, I've yet to see any.

It's not that hard to believe if you look at the way guys are surfing pornstar TGP sites. Right now, most of the content is the same old Matrix/JokersX stuff - great pics, but a lot of it is really played out within the niche.

Why would I buy a current DVD when I can grab an AVS pass and download shitloads of long clips from AdultBouncer sites, or some free AVS protected site? I could have most of the Matrix vids located in one night - but try to find a clip of Seka.
