Open source TGP CMS and traffic management bundle

Just an idea..... While I can see the obvious advantage to the webmaster/user, what's the advantage/benefit to the developer?

Okay, we're getting somewhere.

Other benefits: upsells to 'further customization'? Also, if the LINUX licensing model is used, ALL alterations have to be OPEN SOURCE as well.... basically, you get folks all over the world doing part of your homework for you. How cool is that?

The obvious (to me) reason is stability: with perhaps dozens of developers coding, testing, debugging, re-coding, etc. the end product is sure to be nearly bug-free in comparison to retail packages that have just one or two developers.

That's a benefit to the end user, for sure. While it benefits the developer since it will attract more users, any other benefits?
