You dont know how happy i was to make this announcement to my family. LOL
This actually happened a few days ago but i figured i would share since this is gfy and all.
If theres a moral to this story it is " dont go the internet for medical advice"
I had a flu recently you may have seen my thread "dont fart when you have the flu "
About day#2/3 of my flu i noticed i had black feces(poo), and i dont mean dark green i mean black tar looking stuff ( i hope your not eating )
Of course im concerned but its the weekend and im already sick so i dont wanna go the emergency for black poo, so i turn to trusty old google.
Oh shit i'm gonna die. its blood in the intestine and cancer and dear god i had everything under the sun lol . sweating bullets i was..
Even the doctor had bad things to say the next day
" you sure its black not green ?"
me - " nope its like black as black"
" blood in the intestine" he says looking worried , sends mme for x-rays
Now the strange thing was my old lady was also sick and she also had the same black feces affliction , but the doctor didnt seem to care..
Now it was the flu but everything i looked at said the same thing . blood , if its black its old blood. even the doc..
I havent gotten the tests back from doc but a few days later the poo turned to brown again and i feel better so musta been the illness..
what i think it was is pepto bismal , but the doctor didnt think so..
i hadnt eaten anything for 3 days , and i mean NOTHING , except pepto bismal, valiums and water
so it musta just been a wierd coincidence or pepto turns black when your sick
